Description:

Lead person over a team of 6 people. Will be responsible for coordinating and consolidating the software release from the other development teams (coldfusion, java, .net and LotusNotes). WIll be the liaison between the development teams, BA and QA. Will be optimizing the release process and creating standards for the release process. Will need to be able to mentor junior programmers and help them develop their development skill set. Will be responsible for the hiring/firing of people. Need to have an understanding of software operations and support environment. Quick turn around time, response under pressure- Need to have Coldfusion experience.

SUMMARY:
Under general direction, lead, coordinate, and maintain all application development, ocumentation, and coding of software applications for the technical team; mentor and develop team members. The lead is also accountable for quality of all team deliverables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Lead, mentor, train and oversee all activities of assigned development team members.
? Lead large, complex technical application development and support initiatives; manage multiple small initiatives.
? Interface with the various group to ensure application meets business requirement.
? Provide recommendations to improve existing applications and processes to ensure optimal performance.
? Maintain and support new and existing applications.
? Coordinate production build process.
? Analyze functional and application technical design requirements to create and/or modify technical design
documents.
? Code complex application components based on design specifications.
? Analyze and troubleshoot and resolve Tier 3 escalated tickets.
? Evaluate and establish coding standards and methodologies.
