Real-time Embedded Software Engineers-Junior to Mid-Level

Responsibilities will include:
- Develop world-class embedded system and software solutions for the digital-TV, audio/video, cable and broadcasting industries
- Create system and software requirement, architecture and design, implement on reference boards, and debug and test the system
- Contribute to the organization’s strong drive to be on the cutting edge of technology through the generation of patentable ideas
- Work with internal and external customers to explore product requirements and resolve challenging issues
- Effectively communicate with engineering teams
- Improve software quality by following a software engineering process

Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 1-3 years of experience OR MS degree with no experience. Good schools and Good GPA’s are important.
- Firmware development experience .
- Solid understanding on various software development tools and environments: IDE, debugger, source control, bug tracking, etc.
- Solid skills in C as well as real-time operating systems such as Linux and VxWorks; C++ and Java preferred
- Ability to multi-task effectively under considerable pressure of deadlines and easily adapt within a fast-paced, start-up like environment
- Be able to quickly learn/adapt using diverse tools and technologies
- Strong desire and passion for working with consumer electronics or multi-media.
