Customer success is one of the founding principals at PaperThin. We are looking for a unique individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to lead our growing Professional Services Team.

The individual we are looking for will be a strong player/coach with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing enterprise-class, web development projects. He/she must be able to perform high quality/high customer-satisfaction consulting, training and implementation services to customers, as well as successfully manage projects and direct a team of implementation consultants. He or she should have strong Web development skills, solid experience in customer service and relationship building, an aptitude for technical training and experience in managing technical developers. Up to 50% travel is required.


Primary Responsibilities:

As the lead Professional Services Consultant in the organization this person will:

* Manage the general operations of the Professional Services organization
* Participate in the hiring of and management of additional implementation consultants
* Mentor and guide customers through the CommonSpot CMS implementation process
* Design, price and deliver CommonSpot CMS implementations and related custom applications
* Perform on-site and remote implementation services, consulting and training to customers
* Manage and carry out integration with other software platforms and environments
* Perform installations in multiple server configurations (which include multi-server environments on Windows, Solaris and Linux)
* Identify and resolve technical issues of customers
* Develop training material and deliver public and private training classes to developers, administrators and end-users
* Participate in group discussions with customers about the best practices around implementation of the product
* Ownership of the technical relationships with our customers
* Assist junior level consultants on project scope, management and implementation
* Work closely with Account Manager to ensure ultimate customer success
* Lead the technical enablement of partners through services, training and support



Required Skills

* Expert Level knowledge of ColdFusion Application development, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
* Strong experience in XML, XSL, Web Services and database architecture/development (SQLServer, Oracle)
* Strong general programming knowledge including Object Oriented Programming
* Proven self-starter with 2+ years of experience managing software implementation projects
* Detail oriented problem solver
* Strong leadership and project management skills
* Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
* Ability to manage multiple levels of relationships (Admin to CIO)
* Thrive in a high paced environment
* Proficient in managing multiple projects at the same time



Beneficial Skills

* Recognition in the ColdFusion community
* Additional application development experience (Ajax, Java, .NET, PHP)
* CMS software development/support experience
