Requirements
8+ years of software development experience.
Experience working with C, C++, C#, .NET Framework.
Experience with A/V streaming (preferably over IP) technologies is essential.
Experience with industry standard codecs is required.
Experience working on settop boxes in the IPTV, Cable or Satellite domains is an advantage
Embedded systems development experience is a must, WindowsCE experience is a plus
Excellent understanding of real time Kernels is highly desirable.

Solid problem solver and a very productive coder
Excellent communication skills
Passionate and self-driven to success in a fast-paced environment will help.
A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. MS Degree would be preferable.

Position Description
The position involves working on enabling the IPTV client to take advantage of A/V, graphics capabilities on the next generation SOC based set-top box hardware. This will involve working with our multi platform multi room embedded A/V Pipeline. In addition, the position will involve a keen understanding of all the operating systems this pipeline runs on and a very thorough understanding of the protocols it supports. Pushing through new technology envelopes is a must - including evangelizing approaches and tradeoffs that are involved with the leading edge video over IP technologies.
